First Ovotrack Academy in Wisconsin is a winner
S&R Egg Farms hosted the first Ovotrack Academy at their brand new egg processing center in Cold Springs, WI. The first edition of this new Ovotrack service focused on Moba customers in the USA.
For two days, all existing Ovotrack modules were discussed in six blocks, each block addressing a specific process step, such as ‘database and synchronization’, ‘receiving eggs and material’, ‘scanning at the loader and grader communication’ and ‘dispatch of finished goods’. In between these information-intensive classroom sessions, breakout sessions were scheduled. During these, smaller groups toured the grading floor and other groups participated in one-on-one sessions with Ovotrack support engineers.
“It’s great to see customers learning from each other, whilst also giving us the opportunity to improve our solutions so they can serve the egg industry even better.”
Cas Jenster, Ovotrack Business Development Director, is very happy with the result of this first edition: “It was a great experience for all of us and I’m delighted with the interactive discussions we had. It’s great to see customers learning from each other, whilst also giving us the opportunity to improve our solutions so they can serve the egg industry even better. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank S&R for their hospitality; they have been a fantastic host. It’s so valuable to be able to go out on the work floor and see what we have been discussing in the classroom sessions. A big ‘thank you’ to the Schimpf family and their staff.”
The next Ovotrack Academy, scheduled for early October, will be held at MSSE in Smithton, MO. This edition will be more focused on Ovotrack customers with Sanovo graders. After that, Ovotrack Academy will continue its tour across Europe, with plans for an edition in the UK or Ireland, and another in the German speaking part of Europe.
