What makes this job so interesting?
As a Field Service Engineer at Ovotrack you have a crucial role. You ensure that our customers can get started with our Ovotrack software and associated hardware. You are responsible for the entire process: from installation and configuration to maintenance and troubleshooting. Thanks to your efforts, customers can use our egg tracking solutions smoothly and quickly and that is very satisfying!
What will you be doing?
• Installation and configuration: you install and configure the Ovotrack software and hardware (such as PCs, printers and scanners) at our office in Amerongen, so that everything works perfectly before it will be shipped to the customer.
• Logistics: you ensure that all configured hardware is delivered to the customer on time and in good condition.
• On-site Installation: you travel to the customer (approximately 25% of the time) to install the equipment.
• Testing and troubleshooting: you test the equipment on site and solve any problems, so that your customer can get started right away.
• Instruction: you provide clear instructions to the end user, so that he/she can work with our solutions without any problems.
• Maintenance: you draw up and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure that the equipment always remains in top condition.
• Troubleshooting: in the event of malfunctions, you replace parts if necessary and ensure that everything functions properly.
This is what you bring
• You have an MBO/HBO work and think level, with a strong preference for a technical education.
• You have several years of relevant work experience and have good technical insight, also in the field of electronics.
• You are familiar with Microsoft Windows and are proficient in both Dutch and English.
• You enjoy traveling and solving technical challenges for customers all over the world.
• With your strong communication skills, you know how to effectively interact with customers and please them.
• You are independent, proactive, and you know how to stay calm under pressure.

What do we do at Ovotrack?
Tracing eggs is a necessity today. We want to know where our eggs come from and what happens to them before the egg ends up on our plate. Ovotrack has made this possible. We are a small company that has developed a software system that allows us to trace eggs, from the farmer to the supermarket. We do this with a small and ambitious team from Amerongen, but we now serve customers all over the world. We not only supply the software, but also the necessary hardware. This way we serve our customers from A to Z.
