Innovation is central at Ovotrack Company event

The Ovotrack team from The Netherlands enjoyed a company event on Friday October 5. An American school bus took the group on a surprise trip that took them to the new Pas Reform distribution center in Doetinchem.

Pas Reform, a leading supplier of total hatchery solutions, is an important partner for Ovotrack in the hatchery market. The companies are working together on integrating their respective solutions at one of the hatcheries of Uvesa in Spain. Pas Reform’s commercial Director Erwin Prinzen presented the company and its latest innovations before taking the team on a tour through the modern distribution center, which supplies hatcheries all over the world.

The event continued at the DRU, an old steelmaking factory, which shut down 20 years ago and now houses a restaurant, a museum and an innovation center. After a nice outside lunch, the Ovotrack team spent the afternoon being creative in the innovation center by experimenting with 3D printers in the fablab as well as hammering metal with the help of experienced blacksmiths.

Partly thanks to the beautiful weather, it turned out to be a very relaxed and inspiring day, which the team enjoyed very much.
